2022 WORKSHOP SCHEDULE

Yoga or Somatics workshops are a fantastic way to take time to focus on more specific aspects to refine our practice. It is also a work of exploration enabling us to appreciate how our breath, body and mind come together to bring us harmony.

YIN & YANG: REVIVE, REST & RESTORE - WITH YOGA 

Winter is an invitation to slow down, rest and recharge your batteries to leave you feeling restored & refreshed.  It is an act of self love to nurture yourself at this time of the year, to heal and repair. 

 

We will start with a slow warm up and vinyasa practice followed by a wonderful restorative yoga session with lots of props to create a safe, supportive space to nourish & nurture yourself. Leave feeling , calm, relaxed yet recharged. 

Pls note we will use props: yoga mat, blankets, cushions, bolsters or big pillows, blocs, belts.

Perfect way to unwind and dissolve stress: A gentle flow to ease those areas, melt tensions away, recreate space and balance.  Feel freer,  more spacious, lighter and relaxed. Enjoy the ease of movement in your upper body !

A focus on those areas to decompress, create space, mobilise and rebalance. Walk with a spring in your step.

Whether you are recovering from the pandemic, Covid-19 or a busy lifestyle... you will benefit from learning simple breathing techniques & exercises to access the vagus nerve. Unwind, let go and soothe body & mind. Rebalance, Relax, Recharge.

Stress produces adrenaline & cortisol which long term leads to imbalance & dis-ease in the body. Many of us can become addicted to being in the “doing” mode but we need to balance this out with “non-doing” to function well. This workshop  includes theory as well as  a practice. REAWAKENING & OPENING OUR HEART TO SPRING

Time to come out of our cocoon. Join us in this beautiful relaxing and awakening flow to mobilise our body. The focus is on opening our heart as well as our spine, chest, back and shoulders. A blend of yoga and somaticflow to open our heart chakra. 

 

The heart chakra, Anahata, is the bridge between body and spirit.  It is associated with calmness balance and serenity.

 

This practice includes a breathing practice, mantra, positive affirmations, somatics and yoga movements to lengthen and open our bodies & heart. We mobilise, open, stretch, decompress and strengthen ourselves. We end with a short meditation.
