Goodbye bad back...

Balance & strength restored...

I started Yoga with Isabelle just over three months ago. My physical fitness has increased so much. I can now stand on one leg when I put on my trainers and tie up the laces -something I used to do years ago but had lost the balance to do it. My breathing is deeper and I can hold my breath for longer. My muscles are toned - Dynamic Yoga has really improved my core and legs! Thank you Isabelle, you are a fantastic teacher, incorporating all your knowledge into each session and we have such fun too!! VA

I felt an inner kind of strength and a feeling of wellbeing…

"I just wanted to say that I really enjoyed the class on Tuesday night. Being completely open minded as to what to expect I really was surprised to enjoy it so much. What I really liked about the class was discovering something new and to realise the misconception that yoga was a soft option as a form of exercise. It was certainly challenging (in a good way) After the class I felt I had exercised well, but also with the relaxation felt an inner kind of strength and a kind of feeling of wellbeing which surprised me! I am looking forward to learning more and doing more. In fact, I have found the tension in my lower back has eased a little already." KT

“I am really enjoying your classes because I feel they are strenuous enough to make me work my muscles and improve my core and posture and I am definitely feeling the benefit in my general wellbeing. I really like the way each class concentrates on a particular area, e.g. last week it was “Hips, lower back and legs”. I also like the way you take time to demonstrate with explanations of where we should feel the stretch and why. You are very good at checking we are all doing the poses and stretches correctly and gently offer to help us to adjust if need be." GR

I begin to feel the benefit of the breath…

“I like that each of your classes has a different theme and focus and I appreciate your feedback and support in the group throughout the class. When it comes to breathing, I struggled in the past but because you focus on breathing at the start, I begin to feel the benefit and it is starting to make sense to move with the breath in a pose.” AY

 

Relaxing for body & mind… Amazing venue!

Le cadre est extra pour ce genre d’atelier – le fait d’avoir des ‘vistas’ aussi jolies et calmantes à travers toutes les fenêtres contribue à donner une atmosphère très zen. A perfect Friday afternoon. I loved the venue…

“A perfect Friday afternoon. I loved the venue for the workshop - really nice. I liked the people especially the teacher!! The class was good. I liked the arm exercises very much. I'm used to slightly faster paced yoga but to be honest it's great to concentrate on the posture and muscle activity so this aspect was really helpful. The meditation was particularly useful for the following week when my brother had a meltdown and was admitted to hospital. I really don't think I could have been so clear headed, concerned but detached without the meditation. My heart was protected but working as it should have done." ED

 

You kept everyone engaged…

I think you did really well to accommodate such a diverse group from very experienced to beginner. You kept everyone engaged and taught really well. My balance is improving as is flexibility

“After 3 yoga classes with you, I already feel some benefit in that my balance is improving as is flexibility. I struggle a little in child’s pose as I am stiff but that should improve with time. Your delivery of instructions and encouragement is perfect and I love being “adjusted!” Probably my favourite positions are warrior and sunbird. Your clear, well timed and gentle patient instructions are perfect!” DG

 

I have noticed a change in my body shape…

“After 3 classes with you, I have noticed a change in my body shape - tighter middle which is great. I am more aware of my shoulders as the initiators of arm movement and the muscles between the shoulder blades as stabilisers - the Teres major and minor, I think.” ED

I can feel the difference…

"As you know from my feedback of your other course, I really enjoy the gentleness of the yoga especially as the rest of my life is quite hectic and I do plenty of aerobic gardening and sheep chasing. I am aware that my upper back and shoulders are a real problem for me and that the shoulders are really quite restricted in range of movement, so good positioning is important for me. I really enjoy getting it right and can feel the difference.  I enjoy learning about the value of the postures and what they are doing to our "energy". I have seen good benefits to me - and more importantly in David. I do think that he is less stressed and that he is dealing with stress better. I also think that he is a bit more humble. I know that he enjoys the lessons and wants to continue.” ED
